It came and went - another year:
Three hundred sixty something days,
In many aspects hard to bear,
Yet precious in so many ways.

A fair mix of joy and sorrow,
Of “full” and “empty”, “wet and “dry”...
As long as there is “tomorrow”,
For “yesterday” one mustn’t cry.

One must go on and keep on fighting,
Right to the bitter-happy end.
But the presumably Almighty
Had better lend a helping hand!
